Last year I replaced the 4 6v Deep Cycle batteries on my TZ50. This year I seem to have a problem with either the batteries or the charging system. I plug in the charger it goes through the charging cycle and usually ends with a flashing light and beeping (some time the next day). Looking up the code says something about the charger or possible bad battery and that it times out after 18 hours.
The other strange thing is that if I turn on the system I get 1 bar on the battery meter in the basket. If I operate the machine for a while the meter increases to about 50% or more. It never used to do that from what I can remember.
I unhooked all the batteries and tested each one with a volt meter trying to see if I had a bad battery. They all read 6.3+ volts.
Has anyone come across something like this? Is there a better way to test deep cycle batteries? I'm hesitant to replace the charger as it's an expensive part and it does seem to work.
The machine does seem to operate but I have not used it much so I'm not sure if I have full charge or something less. The meter reading one bar is very strange and I don't understand what's up with that.
Thanks,
Roveer
