I have a New Holland L455 skid steer with 1800 hours that has not been beaten up , but the bolts are loose that hold the support brackets for the pivot rod (controls the boom - raising/lowering and bucket curl). The pivot rod is connected to the foot pedals and supported by at least 2 brackets with two 5/16" dia bolts each. When the bolts loosen, the slop in the connection results in not being able to raise or lower the boom. Tightening the top two bolts (one each bracket) solves the problem temporarily, but now the bottom two bolts have fallen out as I could not find a way to get to them and tighten them. SHort of a complete disassembly, how does one access the lower bolts to put in new ones (this time with loc-tite)? Is there a special tool for this?
Tightening the top two bolts is done with two ratchet extensions, one of them flexible with a 1/2" socket, and is difficult to do
The bucket curling up and down still works.

How do you access bolts holding the support brackets for pivot rod on a NH L455 ?
