I have a nice, low hours straight 850 Case dozer. I bought it used this winter, in great shape, with new undercarriage. Just getting to know it, and going through all the PMs on it just to get them current and established.I pulled the belly pans today to find a hydraulic leak to the tilt cylinders, and have that sorted, but went to drain the transmission and maybe got 2.5 gallons out of it, when it was showing fine on the dip stick before. The manual says I should get 8 gallons out of it. Any ideas on why I'm not?
