Help! I am the proud owner of one of those elusive Timberjack 1500 C loaders made by Eaton in the middle 70's. It has some transmission issues and I was told it had an Allison tranny in it. Unfortunately, the ID tag is missing. It looks like a TT from the images I've found but I'm not sure. Is there any way to identify it? If so can anyone help me diagnose it? It is slow to engage or rather it feels like it has an internal brake that doesn't let loose until you really stomp on it (It has a Detroit so that's fun anyway) and it won't go into second gear.
